Bass: The Final Frontier

This was a particularly special personal project for me. This illustration celebrates many of the memories I have of my dad growing up and I gifted him with the print for his birthday. My dad is absolutely my superhero so I wanted o capture this in the classic style of Jack Kirby in his typical psychedelic coloring. Chosen themes include his skills in mixing live music, his passion for playing bass (which I inherited), watching Star Trek together when I was a kid, and a special family pet.
